Iran is as safe as the UK and Slovenia, Denmark and Switzerland among world's least dangerous countries.

According to 2019 Travel Risk Map Iran is as safe as the UK and Slovenia, Denmark and Switzerland among world's least dangerous countries regarding security.
The map indicate the danger level in each country and territory based on the current threat posed to travelers (including terrorism, insurgency, politically motivated unrest and war), social unrest (including sectarian, communal and ethnic violence) and violent and petty crime.

Many travelers describe Iran as the ‘safest country I’ve ever been to’.
Violent crime against foreigners is extremely rare and, indeed, if you do your best to fit in with local customs, you are unlikely to be treated with anything but courtesy and friendliness.
Also by reading travel logs of travelers who visited Iran or searching the web, YouTube, face book and other social medias you will simply aware of history of Iran, it's culture, customs , ceremonies and hospitable people.
Roads and cities are safe enough to pass and stay in them. Most of the times you will find adequate English Sings on roads and cities.
Uniformed polices are ubiquitous but have no interest in hassling foreigners.

In cities such as Isfahan, Shiraz and Mashhad you’ll find helpful Tourist Police – usually including an English-speaker – in conveniently located booths.
Traveling alone or in groups everywhere in Iran, you feel safety. Even in public transportation such as metro or taxi , people welcome you and treat you friendly.
All proves that IRAN IS A SAFE DESTINATION TO TRAVEL !
